The RC is established by the Board to decide on the final rating while promoting integrity and credibility of the ratings assigned. In approving the final ratings, the primary responsibility of the RC is to ensure that the analytical team has identified and assessed all risks related to the entities or instruments that are rated.
The RC is the highest level of authority that decides and assigns on credit ratings. All rating decisions, including decisions regarding changes in rating, shall be taken to the RC. There is no other committee that would or would potentially affect the finality of decision of the rating committee
